Bora Yoon

Classically trained and steeped in a first love of choral music, Yoon is fascinated by the intersection of space and sound, maps, human Venn diagrams, handsome sounding kitchenware, sonorities, and the pulleys and strings that hold everything together. Bora’s music has been presented at Lincoln Center, and she was the artist in residence at the Park Avenue Armory.

Harry Bertoia

Harry Bertoia was a sound artist, sculptor and furniture designer. Harry dedicated the last twenty years of his life to his Sonambient work, creating long-form, improvised pieces of music utilizing pure acoustic tones evoked from his sound sculptures. For this event an immersive, 4-channel audio installation was created utilizing unheard samples of Bertoia's private recordings.
